Matthew is the Managing Partner of Hathaway Equity Partners, overseeing the firm’s investment activities. Prior to forming Hathaway, he assisted with the sourcing, structuring, and execution of platform and add-on acquisitions in various industries for several lower middle market private equity firms along with working for a family office. Prior to his buy side career, Matthew spent nine years at SAMCO Capital Markets, a regional investment bank in Dallas. He received his MBA from The University of Texas McCombs School of Business and graduated with a B.A. from The University of Dallas.
